Put the Screen Between You
Play face to face without a physical board. Set one device between two players, take turns, and pause whenever you want to talk through a move.
Clear turns, one shared board
Black plays first and White follows. Both players can see the position without passing a device back and forth.
A useful way to teach
Pause over a key move, explain liberties or connections, undo if both players agree, and try the position again.
Let the board size set the pace
Use 9x9 for a short game, 13x13 for more space, or 19x19 when you both have time to settle in.
